Into the realm of Final Fantasy

This Friday, in conjunction with the Halifax Pop Explosion, Owen Pallett, a.k.a., Final Fantasy, is performing with Symphony Nova Scotia at the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium.

I have recently interviewed Pallett for this blog (which should be posted by Friday) as well as hopefully a radio interview for CKDU's (and J-school) The Radio Room.

I'll keep you posted!

I recently figured out that you are in the King's Journalism program and I wanted to say congrats, Simon! My year in J-school was one of the best years of my life and one that I seriously worked my ass off. But it led me to many great things and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I wish you all the best and even though you're obviously a radio guy, I would suggest taking Stephen Kimber's Narrative Non-fiction class, which not only covers lyric writing, it really helps out in all facets of storytelling, even of the spoken word variety. All the best!
